Speech Therapy Graduates Needed! Central London Competitive
An excellent school in central London are looking for a Speech Therapy graduate to work in their Special Needs department from September.
This mainstream school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and has a large specialist department that is dedicated to the inclusion and improvement of education for students that are underachieving or less able.
As a teaching assistant you will be required to work closely 1-1 with students and track their progress in their academic learning in a classroom setting as well as continuing work and therapy set for students by the speech therapist each week.
An understanding and study of speech therapy is essential as you will be working with students of varying needs and leading group sessions as well as working with the therapist in their individual sessions.

Experience with special needs is an advantage but not necessary as the majority of the role will be working with low level learners (numeracy, literacy etc).
