Industry Sector: Occupational Therapy

London, South London

Type: Permanent

Salary: £21.00 - £26.00 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

My client in South London is currently recruiting a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in a NHS Hospital based in South London. The ideal candidate would have a Mental health background although this is not an essential requirement.

The successful candidate would be based on a female Covid 19 testing ward based at the Hospital. The role would be ongoing until approximately August or September.

The role is on a testing/triage ward rather than a Covid 19 positive ward. Every female patient that comes into an acute bed with the Trust comes through that ward and has a Covid 19 test and awaits their results there. They will then be moved to a regular acute ward or to the positive ward depending on their test results.

It is basically a usual female acute ward but there is the potential they may come into contact with some patients who are Covid 19 positive.

You must have the below requirements to work as an Occupational Therapist
 Full HCPC registration
 Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist
 High standards in written and oral communication
