Job Description

My client in South London is currently recruiting an Occupational Therapist to work in a NHS Trust based in South London.

The successful candidate will work on a ward which is a 10-bedded mixed sex unit. The unit accepts Referrals from the local emergency departments from local Hospitals.

They provide assessment and treatment for people, aged 18-65, who have an acute psychiatric illness requiring 24-hour hospital care. They also facilitate stepped care to a least restrictive option where indicated.

Our client assess service users daily and either transfer individuals to adult inpatient acute wards or step down to Home Treatment Team or appropriate community service.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will have a role within a multidisciplinary team and you will expected to have experience conducting assessments and tailoring treatment plans to the patients' needs.

You must have the below requirements to work as an OT:
 Full HCPC registration
 Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist
 High standards in written and oral communication
