My Private Client based in Llanelli in Wales is currently recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to work with them on Permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work within a clinical team that comprises professionals from a wide range of disciplines, all of whom are recognised in their field as having special expertise in the management of brain injury. The team is led by a consultant clinical neuropsychologist and includes clinical psychologists, a speech and language therapist, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehabilitation support workers. Clinical practice is based on a neurobehavioural approach to rehabilitation and focuses on a combination of social and behavioural interventions to aid recovery of independence. The emphasis of assessment is on a systematic and structured observation of behaviour and skills in everyday situations and tasks.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will have a role within a multidisciplinary team and you will expected to have experience conducting assessments and tailoring treatment plans to the patients' needs.
You must have the below requirements to work as a Occupational Therapist:
· BSc OT or DIP COT
· Full HCPC registration
· Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist
· High standards in written and oral communication
